Hello!

I’m Angie Tidball. I truly love the ocean in all its forms, from the rugged coast of Maine to the sparkling blues of the Caribbean—the water, the light, the coastal towns, and that feeling of being somewhere a little extraordinary. Maybe being a landlocked Nebraskan makes the pull of the ocean even stronger. That love of the ocean, the Caribbean, and beautiful coastal places is really where the idea for Summer Day Travel began.

Summer Day Travel grew from my love of beautiful places and trips that feel genuinely worth getting excited about. I’m drawn to destinations with a real sense of place—the architecture, history, culture, food and scenery that make somewhere unmistakably its own—with plenty to explore and time to simply enjoy where you are.

More than anything, I’ve come to cherish the time travel gives us with the people we love. A great trip gives us the chance to slow down, step away, savor it all, experience something new together, and make memories that stay with us long after we come home.
